YouTube Videographer for Hire?
📱
Since Coleman and his cousin are joined at the hip during real life, they have been allowed to be together during social distancing.
Three days ago they asked me how to start a YouTube channel.
I said, “Go find out.”
They asked me how to edit videos on a phone.
I said, “Go find out.”
They asked me how to upload to YouTube from iMovie.
I said, “Go find out.”
They did.
Some YouTube tutorials and a little bit of fearless practice later, they had
1. shot and edited a “Stay-at-Home Activities” video using Jason’s phone
2. created a name for their channel
3. figured out how to post it
As of today, they have four videos uploaded and have mastered inviting others to subscribe.
Grandmas, aunts and uncles, friends and neighbors have been called, FaceTimed, sent links and told while meeting on the sidewalk to check it out.
I am not the videographer.
I am not the editor.
I am not the uploader.
I am not the tech guy.
I am not the trouble-shooter.
I am not the marketer.
They figured it out.
Time is what we have right now.
Time to figure stuff out if we want to.
Or not.
I don’t want to learn how manage a YouTube channel.
But I did learn to make @annaistheworst Rice Krispie Treats.
Figuring out anything new, friends?
