Kolette at 4 Months

September 24 - Jason died four months ago today.

My niece has a baby.
Each month we see photos on social media with Ross lying adorably on a blanket with the numbers 1-12 printed on it. 
His grin is infectious as he grabs his toes and laughs for the camera. 

There is a frame that moves from number to number on the blanket as Ross gets older.
One month old.
Two months old.
Three months old.
And more.

My niece posts updates with the pictures: 
“Ross at ten months! Walking everywhere. Learning animal sounds, kicking his soccer ball and eating his tennis ball! Ross is so much fun. Watch him grow! #luckymom.”

I feel like I should have one of those blankets that I can sit on and take a picture today.

“Kolette at four months! Doing pretty well. Lots of good moments. Still needs a nap most days. Cries in the parking lot at Walmart. Cries at the gym. But is actually going to gym, so that’s good.  #trying”
