Decision fatigue is a thing. This will help right away.

Q: When was the last time you experienced decision fatigue?

You are a decision maker.

You have to make decisions all of the time.

Decisions about your business.

Decisions about your family.

Decisions about your time as it relates to your business and your family.

Your life is full of decisions and you are successful because you aren’t afraid to make them.

But that doesn’t mean you don’t get tired of being the decision-maker.

It doesn’t mean you don’t doubt your decisions sometimes.

It doesn’t mean you don’t second-guess or wonder if you’ve made the right decision.

Streamlining the decision process is the key factor in taking quick, aligned action in your business and your life.

You know this.

So, how do you reduce decision fatigue and make sure you are only creating the most aligned, powerful decisions possible?

Here’s what it looks like in a coaching session with a client:

Jen was trying to decide between two product offers.

Which one should she move forward with?

She felt a little confused about what decision would be the right one for her business.

#1 - First, we identified what she VALUES.

She identified what is most important to her in her business.

#2 - Next I asked her, “What do you want to have happen here?”

What outcome or result was she wanting to create?

What did she want her clients to think / feel / do / learn?

What did she want her clients to become because of this product?

#3 - Once she identified what result she was creating, I asked her, “What is the best way to make THAT happen?”

This is the plans and implementation stage.

It became very clear to Jen which product she would move forward with.

Once she identified what she wanted the result to be, the way to create that result was simple to see.

And she didn’t look back.

Later, she described the process of using the Decision Formula that day in our coaching session in one word: CLARITY.

It became easy to let go of the other product idea because she was clear on what she wanted to have happen.

Now, she’s pursuing that thing with focus, calm and alignment.

#4 - The final step in the Decision Formula is to Evaluate.

Jen will continuously evaluate as she plans her product offer and implements her plans.

She will constantly test any plan against what she identified in #2.

She will ask herself, “Is this what I wanted to have happen? Is this creating the result I want?”

If it isn’t creating the outcome that she wants to have happen, she can toss the idea or rethink it to support her desired result.

Evaluation happens in the planning process.

It happens while you are carrying out the plan.

It happens after you’ve implemented the plan.

Identifying what you want the outcome to be and always keeping an eye on that outcome is how we stay aligned with any decision.

It reduces decision fatigue because you are clear.

You don’t stew over decisions or second-guess them.

You feel confident because your decisions are based on what you want to have happen.

Just test it.

Does this action help us create what we want to have happen?

If not, let’s look at how we can fix it.

If it does, then let’s move forward with confidence.

The Decision Formula works in any area of your life.

For Jen, she was deciding between two product offers.

But she sees now that it changes how she looks at every area of her business.

It changes how she approaches her relationship with her spouse and kids.

It changes how she thinks about her time.

Using the Decision Formula reduces the friction in EVERY decision she makes.

And that reduces her decision fatigue.

Every decision can be aligned with what you actually want to have happen.

This is simplifying.

This is reducing stress.

This is CLARITY.

When was the last time you thought, “I have to make so many decisions.”

When was the last time you felt tired just from the idea that a decision had to be made?

Ask yourself what you want to have happen. What result are you wanting to create?

Then make a plan to support that outcome.

Stay laser-focused on the result you are going for.

Freely let go of anything that doesn’t support that result.

Clarity.

Alignment.

Confidence.

Message me if you would like to talk more about how you can reduce your decision fatigue immediately.

Today is the day you say, “No more.”

“I’m not doing it this way any more. There has to be a better way”

Your success is more sustainable than it feels like it is.

I look forward to talking with you.

Sending love,

K
