My clients don’t feel stuck. They feel this instead.
Q: If you were to rate the sustainability of your current schedule, how would you rate it?
There is a phrase that gets tossed around often in the coaching world that is an attempt to describe the kind of help that people are looking for.
And it definitely often describes a problem people feel about their lives, their work, their goals.
But it’s not what my clients usually say.
It’s not what my clients usually feel.
It’s not how my clients tend to think about themselves.
The problem I’m talking about is, “I just feel stuck.”
But this isn’t you.
You feel other things.
You worry you’re spending the right amount of time on the right things.
You feel pressure to get to the next revenue goal.
You feel urgency to be a successful business owner and father and husband and neighbor and son.
And to do it all really well.
You usually don’t feel “stuck” in the confused or lack-of-motivation-way that many people feel.
You make good decisions all of the time.
You are a wizard at taking action to achieve your goals.
You are willing to do the hard work to get to the finish line.
And you usually don’t describe yourself as “stuck.”
But I’m going to say that, in a way, you ARE stuck.
Stuck in the relentless grind of creating success the way you have always done it.
Stuck in the belief that you have to take more action in order to get more results.
Stuck in the over-committed calendar you have constructed for yourself.
Stuck in the mentality that feeling pressure is the same as feeling motivated.
You are stuck in the thriving but unsustainable life you have created.
You like the rush of doing it all.
But you know you can’t keep this up.
You’re stuck in having to execute the high-speed pace of your successful life and business.
I get it.
You know that this pace is not sustainable but you don’t want to drop anything.
What if you don’t have to?
What if you can still do it all and feel free instead of pressure?
What if not dropping anything you are doing can actually feel light?
What if, instead, you can drop the stress and the busy and still accomplish everything you desire?
This is how you get unstuck from the never-ending quest of high-achievement.
It’s how you create success and feel calm at the same time.
It’s how you confidently spend time on the things that are most important to you.
It’s how you feel closer in your relationships with your kids AND hit that next quarter’s revenue goal.
Hiring a coach isn’t just about helping a person move along in their motivation or working through a rough patch.
I hire my coach because I like doing it all.
I’m good at accomplishing things.
I’m successful.
But I want to feel differently about it.
I want to do it all AND feel grounded at the same time. Steady. Calm. Light. Joyful.
Completely confident that I am spending my time exactly how I want to spend it.
I’m not stuck.
And being stuck in your successful but relentlessly unsustainable schedule isn’t necessary for you, either.
Sending love,
K
