We have added some words and phrases to our daily vocabulary during COVID-19.

Essential workers.

The question wanders through my mind. What makes a worker essential? What makes a job essential? What makes an activity essential? What makes a business essential? What makes a person essential?

I’m missing our essential worker.
Partner.
Best friend.
Husband.
Confidant.
Encourager.
Comedian.
Dad.

What’s more essential than that?
