Belief work is your time travel strategy
Q: What do you currently do to change a limiting belief?
Belief work is simple.
But it’s more than just thinking positively about something.
It’s more than having a good attitude.
It’s more than muscling through with grit and gratitude.
Belief work is literally changing what you believe about yourself, your business, your time, the world.
It’s a simple but earth-shattering strategy for creating success.
Shifting a thought that is currently limiting you.
Belief work is recognizing what you WANT to believe in the future, fast-forwarding time, and believing it now.
Without physical evidence that it is true.
Yes, I said it.
You can CREATE the future - now. Just by believing it.
You actually skip the “get some experience” step.
You don’t have to struggle through doing the thing before you can know that it is true.
Your body doesn’t know the difference between you believing it and you physically doing it.
When I first learned this concept I was skeptical.
I have always created success by doing the things that create success.
Hard work has always been the way.
How about you?
But then I started to wonder. What if it’s true?
What if I can create something just from my full belief of it?
What would my life look like if I could do this?
I would have more time.
I would feel less stress.
I would replace pressure with purpose.
I would feel calm.
I would feel empowered.
I would feel connected and present in my relationships.
It’s been 18 months since I first considered the possibility that belief work might be “a thing.”
It’s a success like I have never seen before.
Success from the inside out.
And my life will never be the same again.
Over the last year and a half, I have practiced this success strategy.
I have doubted it.
And I have given it a chance.
I have tested it.
I have tried it for myself.
I have learned how to make it work for me.
Here is how I Believe Something New:
1. Recognize that I have a belief I want to change or adopt
2. SPEAK it, HEAR it, SEE it, THINK it
3. Give myself a chance, over and over and over, to believe it
4. Notice the belief shifting
I rate my belief of the thing once I have recognized it.
I usually believe the NEW thought 0% in the beginning.
Sometimes it’s a little higher than that.
My belief that something different could be true is always low - that’s why I want to change the belief.
Then I put the new thing I want to believe into my life in as many ways as I can.
I talk to people about it. I look for it.
I listen to music and podcasts that support it.
I write about my current belief and how I want to change it.
Then I write how it is changing.
I post my new belief as a daily or hourly reminder on my phone. I ponder it when it pops up.
I give myself a million chances to believe the new thing.
And I pay attention to how it is shifting.
My percentage of believing the new thing moves as I think about it. My belief increases.
More and more, I start considering the possibility of it being true.
And then one day, I look at one of the reminders on my phone and realize that I actually believe the new thought 100%.
Or I’m pretty close to full belief.
I recognize that have become the thing I used to believe was not possible.
I have created my future self through BELIEVING.
Belief work is the ultimate time hack.
Sending love,
K
