Coleman has in-person school Monday-Thursday.
Fridays are online with time at school for teachers to help small groups or individual students if needed.
It’s Friday.
But don’t be fooled that Coleman is fervently working on schoolwork in this pic.
He’s not.

He wanted to take over Jason’s March Madness bracket pool.
I have resisted.
Then I finally said yes.
But I hadn’t looked at the deadline for filling out your bracket.
It was 20 minutes after I said he could do it.

We were running out of time.
Coleman didn’t just want to be Jason. He wanted to be Coleman but take over for Jason. 
We were frantically trying to log Coleman into Jason’s bracket pool and make the changes.
And fill out a bracket for me.
A bracket for Coleman.
And one for Jason.
We had Jason’s account pulled up on my computer. Coleman’s new account pulled up on another computer. And my account in there somewhere.

The clock ticked down.
Coleman had filled out a bracket for Jason that had the all the underdogs winning and  BYU going all the way.👊🏻
But he ran out of time filling out his own bracket. It locked him out.
Sad face.😞

I said, “Dad fixed stuff like this all the time. I know there’s a way.”
We searched and hunted through his account and googled for an answer.
Then we clicked on three dots by Coleman’s name. The manager could add the bracket picks for someone, even after they were locked.
Coleman filled out his bracket as the first few minutes of games started.
I knew Jason could do that. And after making Coleman an admin, now he can, too.

Filling out and watching March Madness brackets together goes back to the early 90s when we were dating. Jason loves the predicting and the winning and the coming together to cheer for something.
I’ve been resisting it because it reminds me of Jason.
But I don’t really want to anymore.
Predicting is fun! Winning is fun! Cheering is fun!

Next year I’ll be ready earlier.
Coleman can take over in whatever way he wants.
Jason has probably created a new pool up there and is getting a full view of every game, anyway.✊🏻💙

2 Hours Later . . .
Coleman is in my room with the TV on double play and a computer next to him as he toggles between all the tournament games going on right now.
That is so Jason.😂
