How to never second-guess a decision again.
Q: What is one decision you need to make in the next few days?
You’re making a decision.
First, ask “What do I want to have happen here?”
Asking this first helps you pay attention to the outcome you want versus just figuring out what you want to DO.
In other words…what do I want to:
Think?
Feel?
Learn/Do?
Become?
This also applies if your decision affects another person - what kind of experience are you hoping to have happen for them?
Every person gets to be in charge of their own experiences.
We aren’t in charge of making them think or feel something.
However, we can show up to the experience with thought and purpose. This might help create a certain outcome for them.
So we can consider…what might I want them to:
Think?
Feel?
Learn/Do?
Become?
Next, ask “What is a good way to make that happen?”
These are your plans.
What will you do to create what you want to have happen?
Implement your plans.
Then Evaluate by asking, “Am I creating what I want to have happen?”
If so, how? If not, what can I change to create it?
This is the Decision Formula in action.
It’s how we effortlessly make aligned decisions.
Aligned with what is most important to us.
I invite you to use the Decision formula today.
Make a note of the Golden Question: What do I want to have happen?
When you are approaching a conversation or accomplishing something on your calendar, ask yourself the Golden Question.
What do I want to have happen here?
What is a good way to make that happen?
Then go do that thing.
You show up aligned with what is important to you.
This is living with high-level purpose in even the smallest decisions.
Q: What is one decision you need to make in the next few days?

Message me with the decision you’ve made using the Decision Formula.
Enjoy it!
