"Enough" is Not Where You Arrive

🥰
"Enough" is one of those tricky words.
It sounds harmless but it often holds some sort of judgment.

I don't have enough money.
I don't spend enough quality time with my kids.
I haven't sold enough.
I'm not spiritual enough.
I don't prioritize my family enough.
I don't care for my clients enough.
I don't have enough confidence.
I don't have enough time.
I am not a good enough mom.
I don't do enough of the right things.

I'm not enough.

Here's a question: when will you hit that magic destination called, "enough?"

My friend has a goal to make enough money to really help people in a poverty-stricken country.
What's enough?
Gobs. He said.
Gobs of money is "enough" to reach his goal.
😂😂
We like laughing about that.

But this is what our brains like to do.
Our brains sometimes like to give us ambiguous goals to pursue.
Like the goal to have "enough" of something or be "enough" in a certain way.

What if you're already there?
You've already reached the destination of "enough?"
Did you know that you came that way?
You are exactly that already?

You are enough.
It is not a destination.
It is not the end of your road.
It is not found after you have created gobs of anything.

Enough is your beginning.
And now you are using the value that you came with.
Creating light and influence. Growing. Expanding your enough-ness.

You began as enough.
And you still are exactly enough (plus gobs more).💙✊🏼
